Language opportunities

In Jan 2023, with funding from the STRI Directors, the STRI-IDEA Multilingualism and Community Engagement Task Force launched a series of free language classes, open to anyone in the STRI community. Demand was high – more than 120 individuals signed up for the English and Spanish courses, which are being offered on a weekly basis through STRI-IDEA.

In addition to the language courses, the Multilingualism and Community Engagement Task Force is also hosting a weekly language exchange or intercambio, where anyone can come to practice their language skills with others.
